Why this conference?

third consecutive year, we bring this invitation to participate in a meeting which has as main objective to build on the university a place where you can articulate and publicize the various struggles of the workers of different sectors, without intermediaries. Based on the belief that knowledge is constructed collectively, we propose this space as the university prefigurative we want, where fights are not a mere object of interlocutors and provocative study, but our commitment. The job insecurity
is a common concern among the most diverse areas in the world of work against which new challenges arise the organization of the workers. The call to these 3ras Days is related to the need to ask questions and conclusions based on practical experience and reflection on these issues, ie the intersection of different theoretical and practical knowledge to make their contribution to development new synthesis. Thus, we propose to build synthesis of political, ideological, organizational, new social relations that break with the culture of individualism, apathy or sectarianism, recovering the best of our historical experiences, both past as we travel today.
know that this is not and will not be the only forum for debate and discussion, nor is the beginning of this we propose: there is dialogue between the experiences from establishing the organization and the concrete struggles. The Conference then claim to be part of a growing experience of grassroots organization, to which we contribute. Just as it is necessary to approach from the academic to the processes of popular movement organization, it is also essential that the people from the university, takes ownership of it and the knowledge that there are produced and circulate, becoming a subject of reflection that has as its center.
Despite the limitations of time and space of the Days, anyway hope that the participation of all people can offer other perspectives on the situation of precarious employment and its implications in different sectors of the population.
